A couple more Sow Hogfiddles finished up!

Finished these two beautiful Sow Hogfiddles.

Butternut and Black Locust:

3 string Little Lynzie Ann.

This is perhaps the last 3 string Little Lynzie Ann I'll be making. Future Little Lynzie Ann Dulcimers will be 4 string versions tuned in unison Gggg, or gggg, and, Cggg can be achieved. Upon special order I can of course build a 3 string if someone wanted one, but the 4 string will be standard. Also future models will hav a hollow fretboard instead of the solid undercut fretboard like the past models had.

Sassafras and Black Walnut Sow

This combo of Sassafras soundboard and black walnut for everything else turned out beautiful and sounding great!

Cumberland

Here's another Cumberland I recently finished.
White pine soundboard.
Red maple back, sides, peghead and tailpiece.
Black Walnut fingerboard and centers in the peghead and tailpiece.

The Buchanan

This is the first Buchanan. Future versions will have some slight changes but they will be subtle.
The Buchanan has a nice, rich tone to it. Kinda bassy. The violin fine tuners make it a snap to tune. I'm very satisfied how this first one turned out.
